SUBJECT: Preparation for the 40 Annual Mayor’s Installation and Community

Service Awards
The 40 Annual Mayor’s Installation and Community Service Awards event is scheduled
th
to take place on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
Time has been allotted during the study session on August 10 to begin preparing for the
event and provide direction to staff regarding the event time and location. In addition,
future Town Council agendas will include the following items:
September 14: Review draft event agenda
October 12: Select three recommendations for the Michael K. Shimansky
Community Service Award
November 9: Select Town Council Community Service Award recipients; identify
award presenters; finalize agenda
December 7: Event
