CALL TO ORDER The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order by Mayor Morgan at 5:00 p.m. The meeting was conducted by teleconference only. 1.1 Roll Call City Clerk Marie Sunseri conducted the roll call for attendance. Present: Renee Morgan, Mayor Newell Arnerich, Vice Mayor (arrived at 5:05) Dave Fong, Councilmember Karen Stepper, Councilmember Robert Storer, Councilmember 1.2 Announcements City Clerk Marie Sunseri provided information regarding the format of the meeting and instructions for public comment. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Matt Stamey, Board President, San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District. 3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA There were no changes to the order of the agenda. 4. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN Judy Lloyd, Chief Executive Officer, Danville Area Chamber of Commerce, encouraged the Town to keep the parklets in place until the fall of 2021. PRESENTATIONS AND PROCLAMATIONS 5.1 Presentation by Chief Paige Meyer and EMS staff, San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District, introducing the "First Responders for Mental Health" Pilot Project, featuring a Comprehensive Plan to respond to Mental Health Emergencies Chief Meyer and EMS staff presented the Pilot Project. Mayor Morgan opened the item to public comment. The following speakers expressed support for the Pilot Project: Kathy Chiverton, Executive Director, Discovery Counseling Center Veronica Benjamin Sarah Stroin Michelle Lucker Natasha Verma Mayor Morgan closed the item to public comment. The Town Council expressed support for the project and commended all agencies and staff who worked together on a comprehensive plan to respond to mental health emergencies. 6.
