CALL TO ORDER The regular meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order by Mayor Morgan at 5:00 p.m. The meeting was conducted by teleconference only. 1.1 Roll Call City Clerk Marie Sunseri conducted the roll call for attendance. Present: Renee Morgan, Mayor Newell Arnerich, Vice Mayor Dave Fong, Councilmember Karen Stepper, Councilmember Robert Storer, Councilmember All Councilmembers were present. 1.2 Announcements City Clerk Marie Sunseri provided information regarding the format of the meeting and instructions for public comment. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Maintenance Services Director Dave Casteel. 3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA There were no changes to the order of the agenda. DANVILLE TOWN COUNCIL SUMMARY OF ACTIONS MAY 18, 2021 2 4. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN Patty Hoyt announced that she will be retiring as of June 30, 2021, expressed appreciation to the Town Council for supporting her efforts over the years, and stated that the funding for the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Team (ADAPT) San Ramon Valley contract is ending as of June 30, 2021. The following speakers commented on the incident with the Danville Police Department that occurred on March 11, 2021: Katie Mahon Veronica Benjamin Sarah S. Nakenya Allen Joan Kazerounian Stephanie Taddeo Hooman Hodjat Mayor Morgan thanked the speakers for voicing their comments and concerns and stated that the Town Council is prohibited from discussing the details of an ongoing investigation. 5. CONSENT CALENDAR 5.1 Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the regular Town Council meeting of May 4, 2021 5.2 Consider approval of the Register of Demands 5.3 Consider acceptance of the March 2021 Month End Treasurer’s Report 5.4 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 19-2021, approving the preliminary Engineer’s Report, declaring intent to levy and collect assessments for Fiscal Year 2021/22 and setting June 15, 2021 as the date for the public hearing for Danville Street Lighting and Landscape Assessment District No. 1983-1 5.5 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 20-2021, appropriating $100,000 in Building and Planning Special Revenue Funds for consultant plan check and inspection services for FY 2020/21 5.6 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 21-2021, approving the display of the Rainbow Flag during the month of June 2021 DANVILLE TOWN COUNCIL SUMMARY OF ACTIONS MAY 18, 2021 3 MOTION BY VICE MAYOR ARNERICH, SECOND BY COUNCILMEMBER STORER, TO APPROVE THE CONSENT CALENDAR MOTION CARRIED 5-0 6. TOWN COUNCIL REPORTS 7.1 San Ramon Valley Unified School District liaison report by Mayor Morgan Mayor Morgan provided the report. 7.2 County Connection Boardmember report by Councilmember Storer Councilmember Storer provided the report. 7.3 Town Council updates Councilmembers provided updated on events and activities in Danville. 8.
