Danville Planning Commission – Special Meeting
Summary of Actions
March 9, 2021
1. CALL TO ORDER
The special meeting of the Danville Planning Commission was called to order by
Chair Graham at 5:00 p.m. The meeting was conducted by teleconference only.
1.1 Roll Call
Office Assistant Crystal Rosewicz conducted the roll call for attendance:
Present: Archie Bowles, Commissioner
Robert Combs, Commissioner

1.2 Announcements
Office Assistant Crystal Rosewicz provided information regarding the
format of the meeting and instructions for public comment.
2. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA
There were no changes to the order of the agenda.
3. “FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN” – To address the Planning Commission about a subject
which is not listed on the agenda, click on the "Raise Your Hand" option in Zoom. Your name will be
announced and you will have up to three (3) minutes to share your comments.
There were no public comments.

4. ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION/ACTION
4.1 Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the February 23, 2021,
2020, special Planning Commission meeting.
MOTION BY COMMISSIONER COMBS, SECOND BY COMMISSIONER
TRUJILLO TO APPROVE THE SUMMARY OF ACTIONS FROM THE
FEBRUARY 23, 2021 SPECIAL PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING.
MOTION CARRIED 7-0
Commissioner Paul Radich joins the meeting.
5. CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING
5.1 Consider approval of Resolution No. 2021-01, denying an appeal and
upholding the Town’s approval of Land Use Permit request LUP20-0067
allowing a lot line adjustment that would result in the further reduction of
a legal non-conforming lot size from 63,880 square feet to 44,037 square feet.
The two effected lots are located at 16 and 20 Macomber Road.
Fred Korbmacher, Development Services Coordinator, presented the staff
report.
Fred Korbmacher and David Crompton addressed Commissioner
Palandrani question.
Mike Bellig, 16 & 20 Macomber Road, provided additional details of the
proposed lot line adjustment.
Randy Ritter, Montair Homeowners Association, advised Del Chandler to
present on behalf of the HOA.
Del Chandler, Montair Homeowners Association, provided information
about the Homeowners Associations Covenants, Conditions and
Restrictions (CC&Rs) and Bylaws.
Chair Graham opened the item to public comment.

Chair Graham closed the item to public comment.
David Crompton, Chief of Planning, addressed questions from the
Commission.
MOTION BY COMMISSIONER COMBS, SECOND BY COMMISSIONER
PALANDRANI, TO APPROVE DENYING AN APPEAL AND
UPHOLDING THE TOWN’S APPROVAL OF LAND USE PERMIT
REQUEST LUP20-0067, ALLOWING A LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT THAT
WOULD RESULT IN THE FURTHER REDUCTION OF A LEGAL NON-
COMFORMING LOT AREA FROM 63,880 SQUARE FEET TO 44,037
SQUARE FEET. THE TWO EFFECTED LOTS ARE LOCATED AT 16 AND
20 MACOMBER ROAD.
MOTION CARRIED 7-0
6. REPORTS AND COMMUNICATIONS
6.1 Commissioner Reports
Chief of Planning David Crompton advised the Commission that on March
23, 2021 there will be a joint study session with Town Council, Planning
Commission, and Design Review Board and to submit questions prior to
the meeting for discussion. Information was provided on the housing
element timeline.

7. ADJOURNMENT
The special meeting of the Danville Planning Commission was adjourned at 6:00
p.m.
