HomeMy WebLinkAbout031621-06.5ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF REPORT 6.5 TO: Mayor and Town Council March 16, 2021 SUBJECT: Resolution No. 11-2021, accepting private improvements for Minor Subdivision 851-2019, located at the terminus of Smokewood Court BACKGROUND On December 17, 2019, the Town Council approved the minor subdivision map for this two lot single family residential development. Construction of the subdivision improvements are now complete. Action by the Town Council is necessary to accept the improvements. The private improvements consist of a new driveway, pervious pavers, and associated drainage. Upon adoption of Resolution No. 11-2021, the City Clerk may release the performance security and legal security. PUBLIC CONTACT Posting of the meeting agenda serves as notice to the general public. A copy of this Administrative Staff Report has been sent to the subdivider. FISCAL IMPACT None, all improvements are private. Williams Assistant Town Manager Attachments: A - Resolution No. 11-2021 B - Location Map c: Subdivider: Tim & Alexa Shannon 46 Smokewood Court Danville, CA 94526 File No. 203-04/851-2019 RESOLUTION NO. 11-2021 ACCEPTING PRIVATE IMPROVEMENTS FOR MINOR SUBDIVISION 851-2019, LOCATED AT THE TERMINUS OF SMOKEWOOD COURT WHEREAS, Tim and Alexa Shannon, is the subdivider of said subdivision; and WHEREAS, the subdivider has requested the Town of Danville accept said subdivision improvements as complete; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has advised that the improvements required as a condition of that subdivision agreement between the Town of Danville and said subdivider has been satisfactorily completed; and WHEREAS, said subdivision lies within the corporate limits of the Town of Danville; and WHEREAS, the Danville Town Council must act affirmatively in order for the subdivision improvements to be accepted; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Town of Danville hereby accepts those private improvements installed as a condition of this subdivision agreement; and be it further RESOLVED, that Town staff is authorized and directed to release those securities required as a condition of this subdivision in accordance with the Danville Municipal Code.
