Brittany,
I just replayed the video of your Oct 14th meeting and commend you all on this exciting development
and the planning and effort and creativity to come up with this solution.
I love everything about this new route. As a mountain biker and road rider, and as a Magee project
follower for around 10 years, I think this alignment will please the greatest number of riders possible. It
will be more visible to visiting riders, it will be a friendlier, controlled grade route as opposed to the
original three choices, it will be a huge success.
Importantly it will also preserve dirt trail options on the Magee property so hikers and mountain bikers
will all be supportive of this Paved Path being on the Diablo Road side of the creek.
Yes a few trees will be removed and environmental issues addressed but with the important creek
stabilization work and ingenious planning and engineering efforts by your planners, I am blown away by
the entire solution.
