TOWN COUNCIL - SPECIAL MEETING
SUMMARY OF ACTIONS
NOVEMBER 17, 2020
1. CALL TO ORDER
The special meeting of the Danville Town Council was called to order by Mayor Stepper
at 5:00 p.m. The meeting was conducted by teleconference only.
1.1 Roll Call
City Clerk Marie Sunseri conducted the roll call for attendance.
Present: Karen Stepper, Mayor
Lisa Blackwell, Vice Mayor
Newell Arnerich, Councilmember
Renee Morgan, Councilmember
Robert Storer, Councilmember
All Councilmembers were present.
1.2 Announcements
City Clerk Marie Sunseri provided information regarding the format of the
meeting and instructions for public comment.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG
The pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Mayor Stepper.
3. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA
There were no changes to the order of the agenda.
4. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN
There were no comments received For the Good of the Town.

5. CONSENT CALENDAR
Item 5.4 was removed for public comment.
5.1 Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the special Town
Council meeting of November 4, 2020 (M. Sunseri)
5.2 Consider approval of the Register of Demands (L. Ha)
5.3 Consider acceptance of the September 2020 Month End Treasurer's Report
(L. Ha)
5.4 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 75-2020, authorizing the installation
of a one-way stop control on El Pinto at El Pintado Road, and a two-way
stop control on Benjamin Lane and Green Gables Court at Culet Ranch
Road (M. Hafazieh) REMOVED FOR PUBLIC COMMENT
5.5 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 76-2020, approving changes to the
Town of Danville Investment Policy (L. Ha)
5.6 Consider adoption of Resolution No. 77-2020, awarding a construction
contract for the Town Office Relocation Project, CIP No. B-626 (G.
Santolaya)

City Clerk Marie Sunseri read public comment received prior to the meeting:
Thomas Miller: expressed support for the installation of Stop and Stop Ahead
signs with a wide white paint stripe at El Pinto in order to control traffic.

MORGAN, TO ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 75-2020, AUTHORIZING THE
INSTALLATION OF A ONE-WAY STOP CONTROL ON EL PINTO AT EL PINTADO
ROAD, AND A TWO-WAY STOP CONTROL ON BENJAMIN LANE AND GREEN
GABLES COURT AT CULET RANCH ROAD
MOTION CARRIED 5-0
6. COMMUNICATIONS
6.1 Parks, Recreation and Arts Commission report by Chair Jane Joyce
Chair Joyce reported on the activities of the Commission.
6.2 Announce recruitment for one member to serve on the Senior Advisory
Commission to fulfill a term ending June 30, 2023, by City Clerk Marie
Sunseri
City Clerk Sunseri announced the recruitment.

7. ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF REPORTS
7.1 Consider accepting adoption of Resolution No. 78-2020, accepting the Fiscal
Year 2019/20 Audited Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the
Town of Danville
Town Manager Joe Calabrigo, Finance Manager/Treasurer Lani Ha, and
Coley Delaney, Pun Group, presented the report and responded to
questions and comments by the Town Council.
MOTION BY VICE MAYOR BLACKWELL, SECOND BY COUNCILMEMBER STORER,
TO ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 78-2020, ACCEPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 2019/20
AUDITED COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT FOR THE TOWN OF
DANVILLE
MOTION CARRIED 5-0
8. TOWN COUNCIL REPORTS
8.1 Town Council updates
The Mayor and Town Council provided updates on events and activities in
the Danville community.
9. ADJOURNMENT
The special meeting of the Danville Town Council was adjourned at 6:02 p.m.
