I very much support the installation of Stop and Stop Ahead signs with a wide white paint stripe at El Pinto in order to control traffic. I have lived at Pintado Point HOA (210-234 El Pinto) for nearly thirteen years and have seen cars collide at this intersection, cars drive off the road into fences on both El Pintado and El Pinto, cars drive in excess of the speed limit on a daily basis, cars severely cut the corner when turning left onto El Pinto from El Pintado and, sadly, the beloved neighborhood peacock dead on the street after a car struck it while turning right onto El Pintado from El Pinto without stopping! This year, due to SARS-CoV-2, residents of our neighborhood as well as adjacent neighborhoods are walking, running, riding bicycles, etc.on the street in numbers never seen before. Also, residents of our HOA have pets and young children and will definitely benefit from a stop sign on El Pinto; it will control traffic and, thereby, increase safety. Thank you considering the well being of the residents in our neighborhood and keeping Danville safe! Respectfully, Tom Miller 1
