Dear Danville Council Members,
We have been notified about a Mega Gas Station with 32 pumps being installed across our residence on fostoria way. I
am given to understand that you are fully aware of the noise, air and traffic pollution that it will cause for the residents
of this neighborhood. I was also informed that Costco had attempted to build a gas station in this neighborhood before
and You prevented it from happening, to protect your city.
This time around, Costco has gone across the street to San Ramon to get it passed. The exact same impact will be felt by
the exact same people - the people you did your very best and succeeded in protecting before.
I ask you to please do this again. I am aware that the decision will be made by the neighboring jurisdiction at San Ramon.
However - we need some protection from you. We need to know, even in the future, that you will stand up for us when
the city of San Ramon brings businesses to our neighborhood that hurt us.
Even if you are not able to protect us - our small community that will be directly impacted by the Air and Noise Pollution,
Please consider protecting a wider radius of Danville residents who will for certain be impacted in the following ways:
1.By the traffic that will be backed up near the entrance of the 680 freeway on Crow Canyon. There will be a
cascading effect of traffic from people at Bishop Ranch going home from work.
2.People owning homes in this area will move and go to a safer city. This will cause property prices to drop.
Another impact is that these condos could turn into transitional rentals, which will drastically change the
demographic of Danville, which up until now has had a certain quality of life associated.
We would really appreciate your help in this matter,
Kelly Alvares
A resident at Fostoria Terraces of Danville.
