Hi Marie,
As a downtown Danville restaurant owner we need as much financial support as we can get heading into these very
uncertain winter months. The $5,000 grant per eligible business would be a great way to offset some of the excessive
outdoor costs associated with making our patio dining spaces comfortable for our guests.
Thank you,
Darren Matte

Dear Danville Harvest/Hartz Restaurant LLC,
On November 4 at 5:00 p.m., the Town Council will consider appropriating $250,000 in funds
establishing a Forward Focus COVID-19 business grant program.
Funding will be allocated under two categories, Marketing and Capital and is geared to expand
assistance being provided to Danville businesses still struggling as a result of COVID-19.
Business are encouraged to review the staff report and provide comments by 4:00 p.m. on 11/4 to be
considered by the Town Council. Comments can be submitted to our City Clerk, Marie Sunseri
at cityclerk@danville.ca.gov.
