CALL TO ORDER The special meeting of the Danville Design Review Board was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Chair Combs. The meeting was conducted by teleconference only. 1.1 Roll Call Roll call was conducted for attendance: Present: Mark Belotz, Board Member Robert Combs, Chair Afshan Hamid, Board Member Lou Palandrani, Board Member Chris Trujillo, Vice Chair Kevin Wong, Board Member Excused: None 1.2 Announcements Information was provided on the format of the meeting and instructions for public comment. 2. CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA There were no changes to the order of the agenda. 3. FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN There were no public comments received. 2 4. ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION/ACTION 4.1 Consider approval of the August 27, 2020 Meeting Summary. The August 27, 2020 Meeting Summary was approved. 5. DESIGN REVIEW ITEMS 5.1 Review and recommend approval of Development Plan request DEV20- 0010 to allow the construction of a new 4,618 +/- square foot home with a 419 square foot attached Accessory Dwelling Unit and a 523 square foot garage. The site is located within a Town-identified Scenic Hillside area at 2460 Tassajara Lane (Project Planner: David Crompton). There were no public comments were received. Decision: The Design Review Board recommending the following and that the item return for additional review prior to issuance of building permits: • Color of roof tiles should of the darker tone color in the proposed blend, not using the redder tile colors. • The paint color for the exterior stucco walls should be darker earth tone colors. • The trim colors should be darker. • The windows chosen should have darker frames. • The east elevation of the residence should be revised to provide additional articulation to break-up the two-story walls. • Additional screen trees such as California Pepper trees should be placed on the downhill slope below the home • A complete landscape plan is needed • A revised color and material board should be submitted 5.2 Review and approval of a Master Sign Program request SR20-0008 for the commercial building located at 200 Hartz Avenue (Project Planner: David Crompton). There were no public comments received. Decision: Master Sign Program request approved as presented. 3 6. REPORTS AND COMMUNICATIONS 6.1 Board Member Reports There were no Board Member reports. 7. ADJOURNMENT The special meeting of the Danville Design Review Board was adjourned at 5:37 p.m.
