HomeMy WebLinkAboutASRDRB20201029 5.1 DESIGN REVIEW BOARD STAFF REPORT 5.1 TO: Design Review Board Members October 29, 2020 SUBJECT: Review and recommend approval of the architectural and site plan design of a P-1; Preliminary Development Plan – Rezoning, Major Subdivision – Tentative Map, and Final Development Plan (DEV20-0011) application. The application request is to subdivide the 15,000 square foot lot into five single- family lots, and to develop the lots with five single family residences and associated landscaping. The site is located at 134 El Dorado Avenue (Project Planner: David Crompton). PROJECT DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND This application proposes a five-unit “motor court” development. As proposed, there would be two detached single-family residences along El Dorado Avenue, and three attached single-family residences to the rear of the lot. This would be the fourth development of this design along the east side of El Dorado Avenue. The proposed units’ range in size from 1,695 square feet to 1,805 square feet, and each includes a two-car garage. EVALUATION • Staff has worked with the applicant on this project and are comfortable with the proposed architecture at this time.
