The Act (Government Code Section 50569) also requires that the agency identify any of those properties which are “in excess of its foreseeable needs. A description of each parcel found to be so in excess of needs shall be made a matter of public record.” If any properties are defined as surplus, that finding triggers a process whereby the agency must offer the property for potential use for housing or recreation. DISCUSSION The attached inventory lists all properties owned by the Town. The Town does not currently lease any property. None of the listed properties are surplus. PUBLIC CONTACT Posting of the meeting agenda serves as notice to the general public. FISCAL IMPACT None.
