CORONAVIRUS DISEASE (COVID-19) ADVISORY
AND MEETING PROCEDURE
On March 19, 2020 the Governor issued Executive Order N-33-20, ordering all residents
in the State of California to shelter at their place of residence, with the exception of those
who may leave to provide or receive critical services, as defined in Order N-33-20.
Under the Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20, the Danville Planning Commission may
utilize teleconferencing for their meetings, as a precaution to protect the health and safety
of staff, officials, and the general public. Commissioners will be participating via
teleconference. As such, there will be no physical location for members of the public to
participate in this meeting.
This Planning Commission meeting can be viewed live on the web-video communication
platform Zoom. The video from the meeting will be posted to the Town’s Website the day
following the meeting.
The Planning Commission encourages citizens to participate in public meetings. Public
participation will be facilitated two ways: (1) via email to Joan Snashall prior to 4:00 p.m.
on the day of the meeting; and (2) during the meeting through the zoom chat feature.
The 3-minute time limit applies in both cases. An announcement will be made during
the meeting when the chat feature is enabled, at which time those that are attending the
zoom meeting can send messages that are viewable by the Commission and staff.
Alternatively, you can have your comments read into the record by sending an email to
jsnashall@danville.ca.gov prior to 4:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. The email must
include your name and the agenda item number.
If you have questions, contact Joan Snashall, Administrative Assistant, at 925-314-3307 or
