Danville Town Council:
The friends and neighbors on Cavalry Ct. and the East end of Remington Ave. are notifying you that the
Town of Danville has made changes to the zoning in the Livery Shopping Center without notice to those
it affects and the Town of Danville has willing posed this under temporary when indisputably, no one
knows when COVID 19 will end, and it clearly states the permit can be renewed every 3 months in the
application. This is not “temporary” for which these permits are meant for and has caused a nuisance
without resolution despite efforts to move the activity to an another area in the Livery Parking Lot,
which is currently utilized by other tenants, and even the businesses whom this relates to specifically
(IMX Pilates and Fitness), whom is currently operating outside the permitted area.
These recent events are additive to other nuisances the Livery has endured on its neighbors including
excessively bright lights and noise outside or normal operating hours including but not limited to Leaf
blowing in the early am and cleaning of parkway after 10 pm, which the Livery has been made aware of
with limited resolution.
We would like to see the activity, including temporary permits limited to the front (East) or side (North)
parking lots which does not butt up to the residential area and keep the back parking lot for employee
parking only, as the town has designated it for.
