CORONAVIRUS DISEASE (COVID-19) ADVISORY
AND MEETING PROCEDURE
On March 19, 2020 the Governor issued Executive Order N-33-20, ordering all residents
in the State of California to shelter at their place of residence, with the exception of those
who may leave to provide or receive critical services, as defined in Order N-33-20.
Under the Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20, the Danville Heritage Resource
Commission may utilize teleconferencing for their meetings, as a precaution to protect
the health and safety of staff, officials, and the general public. Commissioners will be
participating via teleconference. As such, there will be no physical location for members
of the public to participate in this meeting.
This Heritage Resource Commission meeting can be viewed live on the web-video
communication platform Zoom. The video from the meeting will be posted to the Town’s
Website the day following the meeting.
The Heritage Resource Commission encourages citizens to participate in Commission
meetings. You may submit written comments only. You can have your comments read
into the record by sending an email to jsnashall@danville.ca.gov prior to 4:00 p.m. on
the day of the meeting. You must include your name and the agenda item number in the
email. Comments should not exceed three (3) minutes.

3. “FOR THE GOOD OF THE TOWN” – Citizens who would like to address the Commission
about a historic-related subject that is not listed on the agenda must submit written comments to Joan
Snashall prior to 4:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Comments will be read into the record and should not
exceed three (3) minutes
4. ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION/ACTION
4.1 Consider approval of the Summary of Actions from the March 9, 2020,
regular Heritage Resource Commission meeting.
4.2 Consider recommendation to the Town Council to appoint Heritage
Resource Commission/Planning Commission representative to the
Historic Design Review Committee for the term ending December 31, 2022.

4.3 Consider approval of the updated Danville Inventory of Historic Sites,
dated September 14, 2020.
4.4 Consider approval of Resolution No. 2020-01, recommending that the Town
Council designate the Xavier/DeSousa building located at 375 Hartz
Avenue as a Danville Heritage Resource (Project Planner: David
Crompton).
