Dear Ms. Sunseri, and the entire Town Council,
The Outdoor Dining you have granted the businesses on Hartz Ave. during this time has been an enormous blessing. We
hope you realize the gift you have given us. For three months we struggled to pay our rent, our operations almost
completely stopped. With your leadership and genuine concern for your community, you allowed us to function
again. You allowed us to recover a small amount of sales which we so desperately needed to remain in business. Our
team pushed ourselves to get past the hurdles and the learning phase of the street and extended patio seating, and are
proud to say we have finally got the hang of it! The idea of it ending at this point in time is absolutely terrifying because
we would be forced to go backwards. We have the support of our landlords, and they are rooting for us to
succeed. Please vote today to keep the street closed for all of us who would suffer greatly without it. I communicate
with my neighboring restaurants regularly, and am certain we all agree.
On behalf of the entire Auburn Staff, who want to continue working and making an honest income during the
challenging times we are living in, we Thank you for the opportunity you have given us, and we sincerely hope you vote
to extend the Dining enclosures.
