HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgendaDRB20200625 Design Review Board - Special Meeting AGENDA Thursday, June 25, 2020 5:00 p.m. TELECONFERENCE ONLY See instructions below On March 19, 2020 the Governor issued Executive Order N-33-20, ordering all residents in the State of California to shelter at their place of residence, with the exception of those who may leave to provide or receive critical services, as defined in Order N-33-20. Under the Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20, the Design Review Board may utilize teleconferencing for their meetings, as a precaution to protect the health and safety of staff, officials, and the general public. Board Members will be participating via teleconference. As such, there will be no physical location for members of the public to participate in this meeting. This Design Review Board meeting can be viewed on the web-video communication platform Zoom. The Design Review Board encourages citizens to participate in public meetings. Public participation will be facilitated two ways: (1) via email to Joan Snashall prior to 4:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting; and (2) during the meeting through the zoom chat feature. The 3-minute time limit applies in both cases. An announcement will be made during the meeting when the chat feature is enabled, at which time those that are attending the zoom meeting can send messages that are viewable by the Design Review Board and staff. Alternatively, you can have your comments read into the record by sending an email to jsnashall@danville.ca.gov prior to 4:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. The email must include your name and the agenda item number. The 3-minute time limit applies in both cases. 4. ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION/ACTION 4.1 Consider approval of the May 28, 2020 Meeting Summary. DESIGN REVIEW ITEMS 5.1 Review and provide comments on the proposed 640 square-foot studio and an 840 square-foot one-bedroom, one-bathroom Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) floor plan, each with three architectural style alternatives (Craftsman, Mediterranean, and Contemporary). These floor plans are two of three floor plans that the Town is developing as part of a collection of pre-approved detached ADU building plans for the Town’s Permit-Ready Garden Cottage Program (Project Manager: Guillermo Santolaya). 6.
