RESOLUTION NO. 62-2019
AMENDING THE TOWN OF DANVILLE
CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE
WHEREAS, the Political Reform Act of 1972 (the "Act") requires every local government
agency to adopt a local Conflict of Interest Code; and
WHEREAS, the Act requires every local government agency to review its Conflict of
Interest Code every two years and make necessary amendments when necessary; and
WHEREAS, the Town last amended the Conflict of Interest Code on March 5, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Town formed an Arts Advisory Board, dissolved the Arts Commission,
and changed the name of the Parks and Leisure Services Commission, requiring an
amendment of the Code and prompting a review of the Code to ensure that all positions
listed in the Code are accurately reflected; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that the Town of Danville's Conflict of Interest
Code, consisting of the attached Exhibit 1, is hereby adopted.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on October 1, 2019, by the
following vote:
AYES: Arnerich, Blackwell, Morgan, Stepper, Storer
