RESOLUTION NO. 13-2019
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A PURCHASE ORDER WITH CONTRA COSTA COUNTY FOR
ANNUAL TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE SERVICES
WHEREAS, in 1988 the Town entered into a maintenance services agreement with
Contra Costa County for the maintenance of Town -owned traffic signals; and
WHEREAS, the maintenance services agreement includes maintenance of 54 traffic
signals and maintenance of traffic safety devices consisting of illuminated crosswalks,
flashing warning beacons, illuminated street name signs and street lights; and
WHEREAS, annual costs for traffic signal maintenance services is approximately
$185,000; and
WHEREAS, the Town has appropriated sufficient funds in the approved 2018/19
Operating Budget to cover annual traffic signal maintenance services costs; and
WHEREAS, the Town's purchasing policy requires Town Council authorization to
execute a purchase order for annual traffic signal maintenance services; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, that the Danville Town Council authorizes the Town Manager to execute
a purchase order with Contra Costa County for annual traffic signal maintenance
services.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on March 5, 2019 by
the following vote:
AYES: Arnerich, Blackwell, Morgan, Stepper, Storer

ABSENT: None
