HomeMy WebLinkAbout092-2018DocuSign Envelope ID: 11516E24-E8D8-4146-B51 C-A02465BE5911 RESOLUTION NO. 92-2018 APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM THE LOW AND MODERATE INCOME HOUSING SPECIAL REVENUE FUND FOR ARCHITECTURAL STUDIES OF THE SYCAMORE PLACE SENIORS HOUSING PROJECT (35 LAUREL DRIVE) WHEREAS, the Town of Danville and the Town's former Community Development Agency partnered with BRIDGE Housing to help develop the Sycamore Place Seniors Housing Project at 35 Laurel Drive; and WHEREAS, Sycamore Place, which opened in 2003, provides 75 units of affordable housing for seniors; and WHEREAS, the Town assumed the responsibility for management and use of the Low and Moderate Income Housing Special Revenue Fund from the former Community Development Agency; and WHEREAS, BRIDGE Housing has identified consultants to perform studies of possible rehabilitation and/ or additions to Sycamore Place; and WHEREAS, it would be an appropriate use of the Low and Moderate Income Housing Fund to pay for these studies; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Danville Town Council hereby appropriates $10,400 from the Low and Moderate Income Housing Special Revenue Fund for architectural studies of the Sycamore Place Seniors Housing Project (35 Laurel Drive) to be prepared by BRIDGE Housing.
