APPROPRIATING FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A
LAPTOP AND PRESENTATION EQUIPMENT FOR THE DANVILLE LIBRARY
FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $3,800
WHEREAS, the Danville Library holds events and programs on a regular basis using a
laptop, projector and other equipment; and
WHEREAS, the existing laptop and presentation equipment used by the Danville Library
has exceeded its useful life; and
WHEREAS, under the existing Library Lease and Service Agreement between the Town
of Danville and County of Contra Costa, the Town is responsible for replacing technology
equipment at the Danville Library when needed; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in the Library Technology Asset Replacement
Fund to cover the total cost of replacement laptop and equipment; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Danville Town Council hereby appropriates Library Technology
Asset Replacement funds and authorizes the purchase of a laptop and presentation
equipment for the Danville Library for an amount not to exceed $3,800.

following vote:
