AUTHORIZING A 2 -HOUR PARKING, 7 A.M. TO 6 P.M., TIME ZONE ALONG
THE FRONTAGE OF 931 HARTZ WAY
WHEREAS, the streets named in this Resolution are maintained by the Town of Danville;
and
WHEREAS, traffic and engineering studies conducted by the Town has established that the
implementation of a two-hour parking time zone is needed on -street along the frontage of
931 Hartz Way to better serve the needs of downtown merchants and the general public;
and
WHEREAS, the two-hour on -street parking zone is for the intended use of the general
public; and
WHEREAS, parking shall be permitted for a maximum time limit of two hours between
the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday; and
WHEREAS, the two-hour parking time zone, as declared by this Resolution, will occupy 50
feet and approximately two on -street parking spaces along the frontage of 931 Hartz Way;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the Danville Town Council that pursuant to Section 22500 of the California
Vehicle Code, a 2 -Hour Parking, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., time zone be implemented along the
frontage of 931 Hartz Way.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on April 17, 2018, by the
following vote:
