HomeMy WebLinkAbout040-2018RESOLUTION NO. 40-2018 DESIGNATING THE TOWN'S EMERGENCY SERVICES MANAGER, ASSISTANT TOWN MANAGER AND THE CITY ENGINEER AS AUTHORIZED AGENTS DURING THE APPLICATION PROCESS FOR LOCAL HAZARD MITIGATION PROGRAM FUNDS WHEREAS, Contra Costa County declared a local state of emergency and Danville is included in that declaration; and WHEREAS, the January 2017 storms caused damage resulting in a gubernatorial and presidential declaration of a disaster; and WHEREAS, the Town suffered significant financial impacts as a result of the storms; and WHEREAS, the State of California requires the Town name Authorized Agents to act in the Town's interest to apply for Local Hazard Mitigation Plan funding; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Emergency Services Manager, the Assistant Town Manager, and the City Engineer are hereby authorized and directed to act as Authorized Agents for the Town of Danville during the LHMP application process. APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on April 3, 2018, by the following vote: AYES: Arnerich, NOES: None ABSTAINED: None ABSENT: None Blackwell. Morsan.
