HomeMy WebLinkAbout067-2017RESOLUTION NO. 67-2017 AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT TO PERFORM TARIFF SCHEDULE RELATED WORK WITH PACIFIC GAS & ELECTRIC COMPANY (CPUC RULE 20) AND APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR THE ROSE STREET PARKING FACILITY PROJECT, CIP NO. C-592 WHEREAS, the Danville Town Council has previously appropriated funding for the Rose Street Parking Facility Project, CIP No. C-592, in the adopted 2017/18 Capital Improvement Program; and WHEREAS, the project includes conversion of the existing overhead pole -mounted electrical transmission and distribution systems operated by Pacific Gas & Electric Company to an underground joint trench; and WHEREAS, California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) regulations govern this work under Rule 20; and WHEREAS, PG&E has asked the Town to execute an Agreement to Perform Tariff Schedule Related Work and pay a fixed cost of $190,317.58; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council, that the Town Manager be and hereby is authorized to execute, on behalf of the Town, the Agreement to Perform Tariff Schedule Related Work with PG&E for work in connection therewith; and, be it further RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council, that $169,343.75 in General Purpose Revenue be appropriated in fiscal year 2017/18 for CIP No. C-592 to be used to issue payment to PG&E for the fixed cost; and, be it further APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on July 18, 2017, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: Arnerich, Blackwell, Morgan, Stepper, Storer None ABSTAINED: None ABSENT: None APPROVED AS TO FORM: CITY ATTORNEY
