HomeMy WebLinkAbout044-2017RESOLUTION NO. 44-2017 APPROPRIATING FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING A CHANGE ORDER FOR THE CAMINO TASSAJARA/SYCAMORE VALLEY ROAD SOUND WALL MAINTENANCE PROJECT, CIP NO. A -513E WHEREAS, the Danville Town Council has appropriated funding in the Capital Improvement Program for the Camino Tassajara/Sycamore Valley Road Sound Wall Maintenance Project, CIP No. A -513E in the 2016/17 Capital Improvement Program; and WHEREAS, a construction contract was awarded for the Camino Tassajara/Sycamore Valley Road Sound Wall Maintenance Project, CIP No. A -513E on October 18, 2016 by Resolution 98-2016; and WHEREAS, additional funding in the amount of $130,000 must be appropriated in order to fund a Change Order to include additional sound wall locations requiring urgent repair; and WHEREAS, this project was previously found to be categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act, Section 15301, Class 1; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council, that an additional $130,000 in General Purpose Revenue be appropriated in fiscal year 2016/17 for CIP No. A -513E to fund the Change Order for the project; and, be it further RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council, that the Town award the construction contract for the Camino Tassajara/Sycamore Valley Road Sound Wall Maintenance Project, CIP No. A -513E to T Amaral's Done Right Construction of Livermore, California; and, be it further RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council, that the City Engineer be authorized to execute, on behalf of the Town, a written contract Change Order with T Amaral's Done Right Construction for an amount not to exceed $130,000 for work in connection therewith.
