APPROPRIATING FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH CLEARY
BROTHERS FOR TREE WORK IN LLAD ZONE A
WHEREAS, the Town of Danville has identified a need to remove four eucalyptus trees
and one pear tree and prune 22 eucalyptus trees on the north side of Sycamore Creek
between Old Orchard Drive and Tunbridge Road to address both public safety and
liability caused by said trees; and
WHEREAS, the Town solicited three proposals for this tree work in LLAD Zone A; and
WHEREAS, of the three contractors who submitted proposals, the proposal by Cleary
Brothers was the lowest responsible proposal; and
WHEREAS, funding of this project will require the appropriation of contingency funds
by the Danville Town Council; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Danville Town Council hereby appropriates $14,925 from
contingency funds to fund the tree work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council, that the Town Manager be authorized to
execute a contract with Cleary Brothers in an amount not to exceed $14,925.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regularly scheduled meeting on October
4, 2016, by the following vote:
