APPROPRIATING FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING THE TOWN'S EXECUTION OF
A CONTRACT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING SERVICES
FOR PREPARATION OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
REPORTASSOCIATED WITH THE 375 WEST EL PINTADO
RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION
WHEREAS, Talmont Homes has submitted an application to allow for the development of
a 1.88 acre site consisting of two existing parcels identified as 359 and 375 West El Pintado;
and
WHEREAS, the subject site is also identified by Assessor's Parcel Numbers 200-140-011 and
200-140-012; and
WHEREAS, the proposal includes a General Plan Amendment for the 359 West El Pintado
portion of the site, a Preliminary Development Plan - Rezoning request, and a Final
Development Plan - Major Subdivision request which would: (1) re -designate a .29 acre
portion of the site from Residential - Single Family - Low Density (1-3 units per acre) to a
Mixed Use land use designation; (2) rezone the property from R-15; Single Family
Residential District and 0-1; Limited Office District to P-1; Planned Unit Development
District; and (3) subdivide the site to allow for a 44 unit multifamily condominium
development.
WHEREAS, the Town has determined that, pursuant to the requirements of the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), in order to disclose all potentially significant
environmental impacts associated with the project, the preparation of an Environmental
Impact Report will be required; and
WHEREAS, after soliciting proposals from qualified environmental consulting firms, the
Town desires to enter into a contract for environmental consulting services with the firm of
Rincon Consultants, Inc. for the purpose of preparation of the Environmental Impact
Report; now, therefore; be it
RESOLVED, that the Danville Town Council authorizes the Town Manager to execute an
agreement with Rincon Consultants, Inc. for the preparation of an Environmental Impact
Report; and be it further
RESOLVED, that $75,546.00 is appropriated for the preparation of the Environmental
Impact Report.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on November 17, 2015, by
the following vote:
