Home My WebLink About097-2015RESOLUTION NO. 97-2015 ADOPTING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL SIGNIFICANCE RELATED TO ZONING TEXT AMENDMENT ZTA15-0001 AND RELATED TO DANVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTERS XXX (DEVELOPMENT PROCEDURES) AND XXII (PLANNING AND LAND USE) INCLUDING SECTIONS RELATED TO GENERAL PROVISIONS, DEFINITIONS, AND LAND USE REQUIREMENTS WHEREAS, the Town of Danville has requested approval of Ordinance Nos. 2015-05 through 2015-10 related to Zoning Text Amendments ZTA15-0001; and WHEREAS, this Zoning Text Amendment effects Town Municipal Code Chapter XXX (Development Procedures) and a portion of Chapter XXXII (Planning and Land Use), the existing Development Procedures chapter of the Municipal Code would be eliminated and relevant portions of that chapter would be updated and incorporated into various appropriate sections of Chapter XXII. Chapter XXXII is proposed to be reorganized and rewritten to include a description of all of the types of Town planning applications and the Town's review process for planning application as developed over time and as established under various ordinances; and WHEREAS, a draft Negative Declaration of Environmental Significance has been prepared for this project indicating that no significant environmental impacts are expected to be associated with the approval of this Zoning Text Amendment; and WHEREAS, the Danville Planning Commission reviewed the Zoning Text Amendment during the Planning Commission meeting of September 8, 2015, and recommended that the Town Council adopt the Negative Declaration of Environmental Significance and approve the Zoning Text Amendment; and WHEREAS, the Danville Town Council did review the draft Negative Declaration of Environmental Significance and the proposed Zoning Text Amendment during a noticed public hearing on November 3, 2015; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Danville Town Council adopts a Negative Declaration of Environmental Significance related to Zoning Text Amendment ZTA15-0001.
