HomeMy WebLinkAbout071-2015RESOLUTION NO. 71-2015 APPROPRIATING FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING A CHANGE ORDER FOR THE HARTZ AVENUE BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT, CIP NOS. C-319 AND C-391 WHEREAS, a construction contract was awarded for the Hartz Avenue Beautification Project, CIP Nos. C-319 and C-391 on October 21, 2014 by Resolution No. 80-2014; and WHEREAS, the Danville Town Council has previously appropriated funding for the project, in the adopted Capital Improvement Program; and WHEREAS, additional funding in the amount of $35,000 must be appropriated in order to fund a Change Order for the extension of streetscape improvements across the frontage of 100 Hartz Avenue (Maison de Fleur) ("the Change Order'); and WHEREAS, additional funding in the amount of $35,000 must be appropriated in order to supplement the contingency for the project; and WHEREAS, the project was previously found to be Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) according to Guidelines Section 15301 (Class 1); now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council, that $70,000 in General Purpose Revenue be appropriated in fiscal year 2015/16 for Project C-319 to fund the Change Order and supplement the contingency for the project; and, be it further RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council, that the City Engineer be authorized to execute, on behalf of the Town, a written Change Order to implement said additional work at 100 Hartz Avenue.
