HomeMy WebLinkAbout064-2015RESOLUTION NO. 64-2015 AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER FOR THE CENTRAL IRRIGATION SYSTEM CAPITAL MAINTENANCE PROJECT, CIP NO. A-492 WHEREAS, on December 16, 2014, the Town of Danville awarded a construction contract to Bortolussi & Watkin, Inc. for the Central Irrigation System Capital Maintenance Project, CIP No. A-492; and WHEREAS, a Contract Change Order is needed to replace incompatible irrigation master valves/ flow sensors; and WHEREAS, the amount of the Contract Change Order exceeds the previously authorized construction contingency; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that a Contract Change Order is hereby authorized for the Central Irrigation System Capital Maintenance Project, CIP No. A-492; and, be it further RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council, that the City Engineer be and hereby is authorized to execute, on behalf of the Town, said Contract Change Order with Bortolussi & Watkin, Inc. of San Rafael, CA for $25,000, for a total revised construction budget of $359,300, for work in connection therewith. APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on July 21, 2015, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSTAINED: ABSENT: Doyle, Stepper, Arnerich, Morgan, Storer None None None APPROVED AS TO FORM: CITY ATTORNEY MAYOR
