AMENDING CIP PROJECT NO. C -586, SAN RAMON VALLEY BOULEVARD
WIDENING, AND APPROPRIATING $138,744
WHEREAS, San Ramon Valley Boulevard is currently in the process of being widened to
four lanes from Jewel Terrace south to Fountain Springs Drive; and
WHEREAS, CIP Project No. C -586 includes obtaining the necessary right -of -way for
widening work to occur; and
WHEREAS, Conditions of Approval and a Development Agreement for Subdivision 9202
require construction of all widening improvements; and
WHEREAS, work associated with widening of San Ramon Valley Boulevard along the
East Bay Municipal Utility District San Ramon Pumping Plant site will involve on -site
utility work to be designed, managed and constructed by EBMUD, at a cost of $277,487;
and
WHEREAS, completion of this work will be required in order to complete the San Ramon
Valley Boulevard widening; and
WHEREAS, the Town and the subdivider of Subdivision 9202 have agreed to jointly share
these costs in order to satisfy requirements related to obtaining the right -of -way and
constructing the improvements on San Ramon Valley Boulevard; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Danville Town Council hereby amends CIP Project No. C -586 San
Ramon Valley Boulevard Widening and appropriates $138,744 from CIP General Purpose
revenue to complete the widening across the EBMUD frontage.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on September 2, 2014 by
the following vote:
AYES: Storer, Doyle, Arnerich, Morgan, Stepper
