APPROVING SUBDIVISION 9292
(DANVILLE HOTEL REDEVELOPMENT)
WHEREAS, Danville Hotel Holdings LLC, owner of Subdivision 9292, has requested
approval of said final map; and
WHEREAS, approval of the final map for Subdivision 9292 is subject to Conditions of
Approval adopted on March 22, 2011, by the Heritage Resource Commission (HRC
Resolution No. 2011 -01); and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County adopted a Precise Section
of the Streets and Highways Plan of the County of Contra Costa, as recorded on
October 24, 1966 in Book 5230 at Page 517 of official records, which encumbered strips
of land along Hartz Avenue and Prospect Avenue within the subdivision boundaries;
and
WHEREAS, the owner of Subdivision 9292 has now complied with relevant Conditions
of Approval; and
WHEREAS, the final map for Subdivision 9292 complies with standards set forth in the
California Subdivision Map Act and Danville Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said subdivision lies within the corporate limits of the Town of Danville;
and
WHEREAS, said subdivision is consistent with the Town's General Plan; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that the final map for Subdivision 9292 is
hereby approved; and, be it further
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that the Public Access and Utility Easement
granted with Subdivision 9292 be accepted, subject to improvement; and, be it further
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that the Precise Section of the Streets and
Highways Plan of the County of Contra Costa as said section affects land within the
subdivision is hereby relinquished pursuant to Sections 66499.20.2 and 66434(8) of the
California Subdivision Map Act.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on January 14, 2014, by
the following vote:
AYES: Storer, Doyle, Arnerich, Morgan, Stepper
