SUPPORTING THE ADOPTION OF THE
COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (CERT)
2013 TRAINING SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, The Town of Danville is a member of the San Ramon Valley Emergency
Response Citizens Corps Council; and
WHEREAS, Community Emergency Response Teams are made up of citizens and are a
critical component of effective disaster preparation and response; and
WHEREAS, proper training of the citizens in the skill sets of the Community
Emergency Response Team program supports the Town's objectives regarding
emergency preparedness: now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED that the Danville Town Council adopts the proposed Community
Emergency Response Teams training schedule for 2013, hereto attached as Exhibit 1.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on May 7, 2013 by the
