HomeMy WebLinkAbout131-2012RESOLUTION NO. 131-2012 AUTHORIZING AN ON- STREET PARKING TIME ZONE ADJUSTMENT ADJACENT TO 155 WEST LINDA MESA AVENUE WHEREAS, the street sections listed below are maintained by the Town of Danville; and WHEREAS, traffic and engineering studies conducted by the Town of Danville establish that the conversion of an existing one -hour parking time zone to a two -hour parking time zone is needed at an on- street location adjacent to 155 West Linda Mesa Avenue to better serve the needs of downtown merchants and the general public; and WHEREAS, the two -hour on- street parking zone is for the intended use of the general public; and WHEREAS, parking shall be permitted for a maximum time limit of two hours between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday; and WHEREAS, the two -hour parking time zone, as declared by this resolution, will occupy 90 feet and approximately four parking spaces on West Linda Mesa Avenue; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED by the Danville Town Council that pursuant to Section 22500 of the California Vehicle Code, an existing one -hour parking restriction, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday, be converted to a two -hour parking restriction, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday, at an on- street location adjacent to 155 West Linda Mesa Avenue.
