APPROVING THE WAYFINDING SIGN PROGRAM ASSOCIATED WITH
CIP NO. A -266 - TOWN -WIDE WAYFINDING AND DIRECTIONAL
SIGNAGE AND AUTHORIZATION TO CALL FOR BIDS
TO FABRICATE AND PURCHASE SIGN MATERIALS
WHEREAS, the Town has a project in the current Capital Improvement Program (CIP)
to design a comprehensive wayfinding and directional signage project in the
downtown; and
WHEREAS, the project will enhance and visually define the downtown and help
navigate visitors from the freeway to downtown destinations; and
WHEREAS, the project has been found to be Categorically Exempt from the
requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Class 3, Section
15311 (Accessory Structures); now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Danville Town Council approves the wayfinding sign program
associated with CIP A -266, and hereby authorizes a call for bids for the fabrication and
purchase of sign materials.
APPROVED, by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on October 2, 2012 by
the following vote:
AYES: Arnerich, Storer, Doyle, Stepper
NOES: None
ABSTAINED: None
ABSENT: None
