AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
PRINTING OF THE TOWN'S QUARTERLY ACTIVITY GUIDE
WHEREAS, the Town of Danville produces a quarterly Activity Guide, which offers
residents information regarding classes, programs and special events; and
WHEREAS, in July 2011, the Town awarded an initial one -year contract to Casey
Printing in King City, California for printing of the quarterly Activity Guide; and
WHEREAS, the terms of the contract state it would initially be for one year with an
option for the Town to renew for two additional one -year terms, for a total of three
years; and
WHEREAS, the Town is satisfied with the level of service provided by Casey Printing
and is executing its option for a second one -year extension; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds budgeted and appropriated in the Town's
2012/13 Financial Plan for this purpose; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that the Town Manager is hereby
authorized to execute, on behalf of the Town, a contract with Casey Printing for
printing of the Town's quarterly Activity Guide not to exceed $54,000 for the period
July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on July 3, 2012 by the
following vote:
