AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR RECREATION SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Town provides a wide variety of recreation classes and activities for all
ages; and
WHEREAS, from July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012, 266 youth participated in six performing
arts camps, classes, and workshops taught by Jeff Seaberg; and
WHEREAS, Jeff Seaberg provides quality, non - competitive instruction to participants;
and
WHEREAS, Jeff Seaberg will provide recreation services in fiscal year 2012/13; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds have been appropriated in the Town's 2012/13 Financial
Plan and participation revenues offset the related expenditures; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that the Town Manager is hereby
authorized to execute, on behalf of the Town, a contract with Jeff Seaberg, not to exceed
$70,000.
APPROVED, by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on July 3, 2012 by the
following vote:
