APPROVING THE SECOND REVISED EXPENDITURE PLAN FOR USE OF THE
PROPOSITION 1B -LOCAL STREETS AND ROADS IMPROVEMENT,
CONGESTION RELIEF, AND TRAFFIC SAFETY ACCOUNT FUNDS AND
REVISING THE FUNDING IN THE 2011/12 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM PROJECTS
WHEREAS, Proposition 1B provides $19.925 billion in bond funds for a variety of
transportation priorities, including $2 billion for cities, towns, and counties to fund
maintenance and improvement of local transportation facilities; and
WHEREAS, a total of $959 million has been appropriated for distribution; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Danville received $685,208 in Fiscal Year 2007/08 allocation
and $633,321 in Fiscal Year 2008/09, a total of $1,318,529 in Proposition 1B funds; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council wishes to adjust the Proposition 1B Expenditure Plan to
reflect actual costs for projects in the Capital Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, the revisions in the Proposition 1B Expenditure Plan result in revision to
the 2011/12 Capital Improvement Program projects using Proposition 1B funding; and
WHEREAS, expenditures for pavement maintenance qualify for Proposition 1B funds;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that the revised plan for use of Proposition
113-Local Streets and Roads Improvement, Congestion Relief, and Traffic Safety Account
Funds is shown as Exhibit 1, attached and made a part hereto; and, be it further
RESOLVED, that the 2011/12 Capital Improvement Program projects C -319, C -487,
C -545, C -511, and C -547 are hereby revised to reflect the changes in the Proposition 1B
Expenditure Plan revisions as shown on Exhibit 1.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on June 19, 2012, by
the following vote:
AYES: Andersen, Arnerich, Doyle, Stepper, Storer
