APPROPRIATING GRANT FUNDS AND AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
PURCHASE OF DOWNTOWN TRASH/RECYCLING RECEPTACLES,
CIP NO. A -563
WHEREAS, the Danville Town Council approved CIP No. A -563 in the 2011/2012
Capital Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, the Danville Town Council appropriated funding for the project costs; and
WHEREAS, the Town received $23,288 in grant funds from State of California Cal
Recycle Program City/County Payment Program; and
WHEREAS, Landscape Forms is the sole source vendor for the trash and recycling
receptacles; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Danville Town Council appropriate $23,288 in grant funds
received from the State of California Cal Recycle Program City /County Payment
Program towards CIP No. A -563 to be used for the purchase of recycling receptacles;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council, that the Town Manager be and hereby is
authorized to execute, on behalf of the Town, a written contract with Landscape Forms
of Kalamazoo, Michigan for $162,928.45 and authorizes use of a 10% construction
contingency for a total budget of $16,293.00 for work in connection therewith, and the
City Clerk is hereby directed to attest same and affix thereto the official seal of the
Town.

the following vote:
AYES: Andersen, Arnerich, Doyle, Storer
