HomeMy WebLinkAbout021-2012RESOLUTION NO. 21-2012 APPROVING A CALL FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SYCAMORE VALLEY PARK SYNTHETIC TURF REPLACEMENT, CONTRACT NO. B 493 WHEREAS, the Danville Town Council has approved funding in the Capital Improvement Program for construction of Sycamore Valley Park Synthetic Turf Replacement, Project No. B -493, in the 2011/12 fiscal year budget; and WHEREAS, the project plans and contract specifications for replacement of synthetic turf at Sycamore Valley Park have been reviewed and approved by the City Engineer; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has recommended adoption of a resolution for the purpose of calling for bids for the subject project, and WHEREAS, this project is categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act, Section 15301, Class 1; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council, that the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to call for bids for construction of Sycamore Valley Park Synthetic Turf Replacement, Contract No. B -493. APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on February 21, 2012, by the following vote: AYES: Andersen, Arnerich, Doyle, Stepper, Storer NOES: None ABSTAINED: None ABSENT: None MAYOR APPROVED AS TO FORM: 1 CITY ATTORNEY ATTEST:
