AUTHORIZING THE POSTING OF PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS
ON PORTIONS OF VARIOUS STREETS WITHIN THE TOWN OF DANVILLE
WHEREAS, the street sections listed below are maintained by the Town of Danville; and
WHEREAS, the Danville Town Council resolves that, on the basis of individual
engineering and traffic surveys, the maximum speed limit of 65 miles per hour (as
indicated in Section 22349, "Maximum Speed Limit Law' of the California Vehicle Code)
upon the following street sections is more than is reasonable or safe; and,
WHEREAS, the prima facie speed limits declared by this resolution will facilitate the
orderly movement of traffic in a reasonable and safe manner; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the Danville Town Council that pursuant to Sections 22357 and 22358 of
the California Vehicle Code, the following prima facie speed limits are established:
25 m.p.h. on
Danville Boulevard - El Cerro Boulevard to Railroad Avenue
Diablo Road - Hartz Avenue to West El Pintado Road
La Gonda Way - El Portal to END
Montair Drive - West Linda Mesa to Hilferd Way
30 m.p.h. on
San Ramon Valley Boulevard - Sycamore Valley Road to Podva Road (south)
San Ramon Valley Boulevard - Sycamore Valley Road to Town & Country Drive
San Ramon Valley Boulevard - Town & Country Drive to Hartz Avenue
Tassajara Ranch Drive - Crow Canyon Road to Camino Tassajara
35 m.p.h. on
Camino Ramon - Greenbrook Drive to Fostoria Way
Danville Boulevard - El Portal to El Cerro Boulevard
40 m.p.h. on
Camino Ramon - Sycamore Valley Road to Greenbrook Drive
Camino Tassajara - Old Orchard Drive to Sycamore Valley Road
San Ramon Valley Boulevard - Podva Road (south) to Midland Way
45 m.p.h. on
Camino Tassajara - Crow Canyon Road to Hansen Lane
