HomeMy WebLinkAbout085-2010 RESOLUTION NO. 85-2010 APPROPRIATING FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING THE TOWN'S EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING SERVICES FOR PREPARATION OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT ASSOCIATED WITH THE MAGEE RANCH RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT WHEREAS, SummerHill Homes is preparing to submit an application for development of the 410 + / - acre Magee Ranch property located in northeast Danville, on the south side of Diablo Road and Blackhawk Road; and WHEREAS, the subject site is also identified by Assessor's Parcel Numbers 215-040-002, 202-100-017, 019, 038, 040, 071,073,078,079, 080; and WHEREAS, the Town has determined that, pursuant to the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), in order to disclose all potentially significant environmental impacts associated with the project, the preparation of an Environmental Impact Report will be required; and WHEREAS, after soliciting proposals from qualified environmental consulting firms, the T own desires to enter into a contract for environmental consulting services with the firm of Denise Duffy & Associates, Inc. for the purpose of preparation of the Environmental Impact Report; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Danville Town Council authorizes the Danville Town Manager to execute an agreement with Denise Duffy & Associates for the preparation of an Environmental Impact Report; and, further RESOLVED, that $174,281.00 is appropriated for the preparation of the Environmental Impact Report. by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on July 20, 2010, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Doyle.
