RESOLUTION NO. 148-2008
APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF A DANVILLE REPRESENTATIVE TO
SERVE ON THE IRON HORSE CORRIDOR MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Iron Horse Corridor Management Program Advisory Committee
assists Contra Costa County in improving and managing the 18-mile Iron Horse
Corridor, including the Iron Horse Trail; and
WHEREAS, District 3 and District 4 Board of Supervisor members appoint the
Advisory Committee members; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council is responsible for approving the appointment of a
Danville representative to serve on the Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, one of the responsibilities of the Danville Parks and Leisure Services
Commission is to advise the Town on park acquisition, maintenance and management;
and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Leisure Services Commission has identified Commission
member Bill Lombardi as knowledgeable and interested in trail-related matters; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that Commission member Bill Lombardi
be appointed to serve as Danville's representative on the Iron Horse Corridor
Management Program Advisory Committee.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on December 16, 2008
by the following vote:
AYES: Arnerich, ~ndersen, Doyle, Shimansky, Stepper
