HomeMy WebLinkAbout083-07 RESOLUTION NO. 83-2007 AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE OF OFFICE FURNITURE, CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, B-286 WHEREAS, it is advantageous for recreation program quality and oversight effectiveness to relocate several Recreation Services staff to offices at the Village Theatre; and WHEREAS, funds are available in the Village Theatre Renovations and Improvements, Project No. B-286 for these office improvements; and WHEREAS, in July 2007 bids were solicited for the project, with the apparent low bidder being Advent of Santa Rosa; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that the Town Manager is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the Town, a written contract with Advent, in the amount of $37,475.30, plus $3,091.69 for sales tax, and a 5% contingency of $1873.75 as needed for a total of $42,440.74, in the form lodged with the City Clerk, together with such changes as may hereafter become necessary, provided such changes do not materially increase the obligations to the Town.
