RESOLUTION NO. 83-2007
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
PURCHASE OF OFFICE FURNITURE, CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, B-286
WHEREAS, it is advantageous for recreation program quality and oversight
effectiveness to relocate several Recreation Services staff to offices at the Village
Theatre; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Village Theatre Renovations and Improvements,
Project No. B-286 for these office improvements; and
WHEREAS, in July 2007 bids were solicited for the project, with the apparent low
bidder being Advent of Santa Rosa; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that the Town Manager is hereby
authorized to execute, on behalf of the Town, a written contract with Advent, in the
amount of $37,475.30, plus $3,091.69 for sales tax, and a 5% contingency of $1873.75 as
needed for a total of $42,440.74, in the form lodged with the City Clerk, together with
such changes as may hereafter become necessary, provided such changes do not
materially increase the obligations to the Town.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on August 14,2007, by
the following vote:
