RESOLUTION NO. 89-2006
ADOPTING A TWO-PHASED ON-STREET PARKING PLAN FOR
STONE V ALLEY ROAD AND GLENWOOD COURT
ALONG THE OAK HILL PARK FRONT AGE
WHEREAS, construction of the new community building at Oak Hill Park will cause the
existing parking lot to be closed; and
WHEREAS, it is the Town's desire to continue to provide parking for park users during the
construction period; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that creation of limited time Oak Hill Park Only
parking areas on Stone Valley Road and Glenwood Court will fulfill this need; and
WHEREAS, upon completion of the Oak Hill Park Community Building, the Oak Hill Park
Only restriction will be removed; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the frontage of Oak Hill Park as indicated on the attached location map
be designated as a two-hour parking zone; and, be it further
RESOLVED, that designatedportions of this zone be for Oak Hill Park parking only; and,
be it further
RESOLVED, that upon completion of the Oak Hill Park Community Building, the Oak Hill
Park Parking Only designation be removed and all areas shown will remain as two hour
parking.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on July 18, 2006, by the
following vote:
