RESOLUTION NO. 3-2006
APPROVING A CALL FOR BIDS FOR THE LIGHTED CROSSWALK
WARNING SYSTEM INSTALLATION ON DEL AMIGO ROAD AT THE
IRON HORSE TRAIL, CIP NO. C-465
WHEREAS, the Town has a project in the current Capital Improvement Program (CIP)
to install a lighted crosswalk warning system on Del Amigo Road at the Iron Horse
Trail; and
WHEREAS, the new lighted crosswalk warning system, as declared by this resolution,
will enhance traffic and pedestrian safety at this location and would reduce the
potential for collisions; and .
WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for the lighted crosswalk warning system on
Del Amigo Road at the Iron Horse Trail have been reviewed and approved by the City
Engineer; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has recommended adoption of a resolution for the
purpose of calling for bids for the project; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council, that the City Engineer is hereby
authorized and directed to call for bids for the lighted crosswalk warning system
installation on Del Amigo Road at the Iron Horse Trail.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on January 17, 2006,
by the following vote:
AYES: Stepper, Shirnansky, Andersen, Arnerich, Doyle
NOES: None
ABSTAINED: None
ABSENT: None
