RESOLUTION NO. 134-2005
APPROVING PARTICIPATION IN THE TRI-V ALLEY VISION 2010 PROJECT
FOR FISCAL YEAR 2005-06,
AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR PROJECT COSTS
WHEREAS, the Tri- Valley Business Council (Business Council) was formed in 1994 as a
non-profit, private sector group of business and organizations located in Pleasanton,
Dublin, Livermore, San Ramon and Danville; and
WHEREAS, the Business Council's mission is to represent the private sector in regional
issues that impact economic vitality or the quality of life within the Tri- Valley and work as
a facilitator with government and community to resolve issues; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Danville has supported the Business Council's work since 1998
and has adopted Resolution Nos. 136-98, 65-2000, 100-2001, 7-2003, 121-2003, and 33-2005
approving participation and appropriating funding for project costs; and
WHEREAS, the Business Council desires to continue to involve local government, business
and civic interests in implementing a common regional vision for the future of the Tri-
Valley; and
WHEREAS, the Business Council is requesting continued participation in the Tri Valley
Vision 2010 project; and
WHEREAS, the Business Council is requesting funding for project costs; now, therefore, be
it
RESOLVED, by the Danville Town Council that continued participation in the Tri- Valley
Vision 2010 Project by the Town of Danville is approved; and, be it further
RESOLVED, that $25,000 funding be appropriated from Town Contingency Funds
reserved through the Fiscal Year 2005-06 Financial Plan to cover the Town of Danville's
share of the project budget.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on November 1, 2005, by
the following vote:
