ACCEPTING THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY CLERK'S CERTIFICATE
OF THE RESULT OF THE CANVASS OF THE RETURNS
FOR THE NOVEMBER 2, 2004
TOWN OF DANVILLE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
WHEREAS, a consolidated general municipal election was held on November 2, 2004; and
WHEREAS, four Candidates competed for three seats on the Danville Town Council; and
WHEREAS, the Contra Costa County Election Department conducts regular elections for
the Town of Danville; and
WHEREAS, the County Clerk has certified the results of the November 2, 2004 election as
contained in Exhibit 1; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Danville Town Council hereby accepts the certified results of the
canvass of the Town of Danville election returns.
APPROVED by the Danville Town Council at a regular meeting on December 7, 2004, by
the following vote:
AYES: Arnerich,
NOES: None
ABSTAINED: None
ABSENT: None
Doyle, Andersen, Shimansky, Stepper

I, STEPHEN L. WEIR, County Clerk in and for the County of Contra Costa, State
of California, do hereby certify that, pursuant to the provisions of the Elections Code, I
did canvass the returns of the votes cast in the TOWN OF DANVILLE in said county at
the General Election held on November 2, 2004 for said city candidates submitted to the'
vote of the voters. I further certify that the statement of the vote cast, to which this
certificate is attached, shows the whole number of votes cast in said City and each
respective precinct therein, and that the totals of the respective columns and the totals
as shown for each candidate are full, true and correct.
