HomeMy WebLinkAbout103-04RESOLUTION NO. 103-2004 ACCEPTING FEE TITLE TO REAL PROPERTY TRANSFERRED FROM THE COUNTY OF CONTRA COSTA WHEREAS, in 1974, prior to incorporation of the Town of Danville, the County of Contra Costa acquired real property for the purpose of extending Railroad Avenue and constructing the Clocktower parking lot; and WHEREAS, upon incorporation of the Town in 1982, the County transferred title to the Clocktower lot and Railroad Avenue to the Town; and WHEREAS, as the result of recent title searches, the Town and the County realized that a portion of Railroad Avenue had not been transferred to the Town and both parties wish to correct this oversight; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Town of Danville hereby accepts fee title to the real property conveyed by the County of Contra Costa as described in Exhibit 1, attached hereto. The Town Manager is directed to have the grant deed and any other necessary documents recorded with the Contra Costa County Recorder's office.
